The Nutcracker was much as expected. It was very enjoyable having a whole group together in the box. Andrea's favorite part was the Russian cossacks and mine is always the pas de deux with the Sugar Plum fairy (I'm a sucker for Tchaikovsky). We all had a good laugh at the bear's rainbow thong underpants. All in all, we all really enjoyed the performance (although I have to admit that I thought last year's performance was better).

The show finished up at about 9pm so we all headed over to Absinthe for some drinks. This gave everyone a good chance to chat with one another. Andrea and I hung out until about midnight and some of the others stayed until 1:30am. It was a complete evening and as enjoyable as I had hoped. It was great to be able to share it with a group of friends.
