This was the second time I had run the half marathon. Race results below.

First time I ran the marathon was in 2001 when I was supposed to run it as a relay with Sam Marx (but she had shin splints so she couldn't run). I didn't do any training for my first half, but I had just come back from Nepal a few weeks earlier and my legs and lungs were in awesome shape. I ran the half in 1:49 and I felt so good that at the finish, I felt like I could have run the whole marathon. I'll just need to work my way up to that!
